Santo Domingo Museums, Dominican Republic
The following pictures are from three museums in Santo Domingo:
(a) Museo del Hombre Dominicano, with a large collection of Tiano artifacts, as well as other sections on slavery, the Carnival, and more.
(b) Museo de las Casas Reales, which showcases colonial era artifacts in a building that was once the seat of Spanish power in the Caribbean.
(c) Museo Alcazar de Colon, restored house of the son of Columbus, Diego, who served here as Spain's colonial governor, and his wife, Maria.
